Hartlepool United’s Easter Saturday ‘derby’ with Carlisle United has been brought forward to the Good Friday.

Pools will now host the Cumbrians, their closest rivals following York’s relegation, on Friday, April 14 (kick-off 3pm).

The decision, made following discussions between both clubs and the police, means Pools players have an extra 24 hours to rest and prepare for the Easter Monday trip to Leyton Orient.
