SCOTT Flinders insists he has no plans to become the latest gloved goalscoring sensation.

Instead, Saturday’s last-gasp hero is more than happy to retreat to the shadows of his own penalty box and leave the headline-making to his team-mates.

Flinders became the first ever Pools goalkeeper to net in normal time when he headed a 93rd-minute equaliser in the final home game of the season against Bournemouth.

But, rather than fancy himself as the next Jose Luis Chilavert, the Paraguayan keeper who scored more than 50 times during his career, the Victoria Park No.1 will stick to preventing goals at the other end of the pitch.
