FOOTBALL club bosses have moved to form a new fan liaison group in a bid to help improve communication with supporters.

Hartlepool United Football Club has formed the Pools Panel which will comprise of 10 fan representatives who will meet with club officials every two months to discuss any problems and report feedback from the larger supporter base.

Russ Green, the club’s chief executive, said: “There’s no doubt that we have a passionate and loyal fan base and we know we need to listen to them more.

“We’re hoping that this new Panel will give us the opportunity to gather feedback direct from supporters and together make changes for the better.

“It’s something new and I’m sure it will adapt as we go along but we’d like to get things up and running as soon as possible.”

The club is looking for fans to fit into the following categories; Town End user, Cyril Knowles Stand user, Millhouse Terrace user, Millhouse Seats user, Disabled supporter, female supporter, message board user, social media user, hospitality user, parent and an under 21 supporter.
