HARTLEPOOL United have added another friendly to their pre-season schedule with a trip to Bradford City in August.
Colin Cooper’s squad will make the trip to Valley Parade on Saturday, August 2nd (3pm KO), with the game acting as the final preparation for Pools ahead of the new Sky Bet League Two campaign.
Pools have already lined up five other friendly matches - including home games against Sunderland and Middlesbrough.
Cooper had always said he was keen to add another friendly in for the final weekend before the start of the season on Saturday, August 9 when they travel to Stevenage.
Against Bradford City, Pools are likely to come up against former players Matty Dolan and Gary Liddle, while new signing Matthew Bates was on the books at Bradford last season.
Cooper, meanwhile, spent time on the coaching staff and was caretaker manager there in 2011.
