HOME is where the heart is for Marty Dolan.
And tomorrow, he hopes that’s where the points are.
Dolan will be paired with Simon Walton in the Hartlepool United midfield for tomorrow’s 16th v 18th League Two clash with Plymouth Argyle (kick-off 3pm).
The Hartlepool lad was outstanding at Exeter after being recalled into the side following his recovery from a groin problem which had ruled him out of the wins at Mansfield and Sheffield United.
Dolan says he and Pools want to put on an action replay tomorrow at Victoria Park – and on Tuesday against Wimbledon.
“It’s a brilliant chance to come to the Vic and show the home fans exactly what we’ve been doing away,” said the on-loan Middlesbrough midfielder.
“The lads are full of confidence and all we want to do is put the exact same performance on at home.
“We’ll do that tomorrow, I have no doubts about it, and Tuesday as well hopefully.”
Dolan is in the middle of the second month of his stay at his hometown club.
And while he is part of a Championship club and was a Wembley winner with Yeovil in the League One play-off final back in May, playing for Pools is something of a dream come true.
“This year has been brilliant for me,” he told SportMail.
“I’m a local lad and I’ve been watching Pools a long time.
“Winning means everything to all the players and this is nothing against the lads who are not local, but for me to play in front of the crowd and pick up three

points I think means that little bit more.
“You go to Asda or in the town and you find out how much Pools mean to people and it’s great for me to be playing here.”
And Dolan is playing incredibly well and his display at Exeter last Saturday was arguably his finest yet.
