Hartlepool United’s Luke James has won the PFA Fans’ League Two Player of the Month award for October.

James was given the award of League One Apprentice of the Year last season so it comes as no surprise to see him voted League Two’s PFA Fans’ Player of the Month for October.

The 18-year-old has scored seven goals in 17 appearances for his club during the 2013/14 season, including three during the month of October.

Digital Sports Group, the Official Media Partner to the PFA today announced the winners of the prestigious PFA Fans’ Player of the Month award for October 2013, voted for by fans across the world on football news website Football.co.uk

Head of Operations at Digital Sports Group, Matthew Tait had this to say: “We’ve had a huge response from fans for the PFA Fan’s Player of the Month award for October, showing us that fans are keen to show their support for their club and it’s star players.

“DSG are extremely proud to have this relationship with The PFA are are delighted to give fans across the world a platform to show their appreciation and support for the players they feel have contributed to their teams success.”

James will be presented with his award by a Pools supporters at a home match later this month.
