ADAM Boyd has been made available for loan by Hartlepool United.
Boss Neale Cooper has invited offers from clubs interested in taking the 29-year-old striker on a temporary basis.
The Scot hopes that a run of games will kick-start Boyd’s season having been frustrated by his lack of match fitness in recent weeks.
Boyd has started just once under Cooper – the 2-1 defeat to Scunthorpe United in early January – and has been missing from the squad for the past three matches.
And the Pools chief told SportMail today: “Adam needs to play football.
“He came to see me about going out on loan to get matches.
“He’s fine about that and thinks he might benefit from that, so he is available to go on loan.
“It worked last time he went on loan to Boston when I was here previously and he came back a different boy.
“So hopefully there’s someone out there who wants to take him now.”
