Have your say

Flinders 5 – Left horribly exposed for goals but should have had more to say to those who failed him.

Austin 4 – Completely out of sorts. Struggled against winger and was to blame for third.

Collins 4 – A tough afternoon and will be disappointed with his part in a couple of goals.

Hartley 4 – He’ll bounce back, but this was a torrid start for the Player of the Season.

Horwood 5 – Gets more stick than he warrants at times and did okay going forward.

Franks 6 – The one positive. Crosses were good and was a threat. Tired towards end though. MOM.

Walton 5 – Disappointing start to Pools career having offered so much in pre-season. Evidently frustrated.

Sweeney 5 – Soon became lost amid the horror show despite obvious endeavour.

Monkhouse 5 – A decent shift down left and Cooper was pleased with him. But as a senior pro he should be more vocal.

Howard 6 – Got himself into a couple of decent positions and probably should have scored.

James 5 – Was withdrawn at break having been all graft and no craft during first half.

Subs

Poole 5 – Was lively during second half and could be pressing for a recall.
