HERE’S how Craig Hope rates the efforts of Hartlepool United’s players during their 1-1 draw at Swindon Town.

Flinders 8 – Magnificent again and without his treble save Pools would have been beaten. MOM.

Austin 6 – Put in his typically steady display and did nothing wrong

Hartley 6 – Recovered from shaky start to get to grips with opposition in second half

Collins 7 – Was a rock after the break and was key to repelling hosts

Horwood 7 – Another assist and he continues to pose a threat in attack with his expert deliveries

Walton 8 – Took charge of the midfield for Pools even if he did play a little deep. Saw a lot of the ball and used it well.

Humphreys 6 – Very quiet afternoon but did what he had to with minimum fuss

Baldwin 6 – His best work was off the ball and played his part

Franks 6 – Didn’t see a great deal of the ball but was involved in equaliser

Poole 5 – An off-day compared to recent efforts but should stay in side for Pompey

Wyke 6 – Another commendable shift and his work-ethic was evident throughout

Subs

Monkhouse 7 – No better way to silence home fans and send reminder to his own manager

James – On 83

Luscombe – On 83
