Defender Adam Jackson has extended his loan deal at Hartlepool United until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old has impressed since arriving from parent club Middlesbrough in November after making eight appearances in all competitions.
And Pools boss Ronnie Moore has sealed a deal to keep Jackson at Victoria Park until May/
Jackson said: "I have just loved playing week in and week out though so it was a no-brainer for me in terms of extending my stay here.
"Obviously the results haven’t gone as planned but for me personally, it’s been brilliant playing in front of crowds every week. I’ve loved it.
"I’m really keen to keep playing games. I think I have improved personally, it is hard not to when you’re playing regular football in different circumstances and in front of crowds but it’s been a massive learning curve for me."
