HARTLEPOOL United boss Ronnie Moore admits he is still pondering what his best attacking partnership is – with the three fit recognised strikers scoring just four goals between them.
Moore said they need to come to the “party sharpish” and has challenged one of them to score 10 goals before the end of the season.

Marlon Harewood – who has two in 29 appearances – Marvin Morgan and Ryan Bird are all vying to lead the line away to Morecambe tomorrow afternoon.
But on-loan Plymouth Argyle striker Morgan only has one to his name, while Cambridge United loanee Bird has also just scored once since arriving on loan.
Moore admits he currently has “strikers, but no scorer” with top league scorer Scott Fenwick out with an ankle injury.
Moore told SportMail: “We look at Harewood and Morgan and you’d think – the size of them – would have an understanding but it hasn’t worked.
“Morgan with Bird doesn’t seem to work, we’ve not got that natural scorer without Scotty and he could play with any of them.
“Getting a combination out of the big ones is hard.
“When I went to Plymouth to watch Morgan play for their reserves and he scored, he was fantastic.
“He really put himself about and we had to dive in and get him.
“I was made up – on the phone all the way home to the missus made up I’ve got a striker who can score.
“But right now, for whatever reason, he isn’t. He needs to produce what he is capable of doing.
“If he does that then we have a player and half, a chance of someone else scoring without putting pressure on Scotty who will be another fortnight.
“It’s important that one of them starts finding the net.”
Moore started Harewood and Bird together in the 1-0 defeat at home to Burton Albion and he admits he is still deciding who to go with tomorrow.
Pacy teenager Connor Smith is an option, while Jonathan Franks can also play up front.
Moore added: “Connor has pace and we have Franksy up there as an option but I’ve not see him there yet.
“We can play, defensively we are better, wingers at times are creating – but they can frustrate too – if we had 15-20 goals a season striker we would be competitive.
“Scotty saw the doctor this week and we hope he’s only got two more weeks before he can start kicking a ball again.
“There’s games to come before then though and we need someone to come to the party sharpish.
“We’ve three natural strikers, Harewood, Morgan, Bird but they are all targetmen.
“With Scotty missing, we need one of the three to get us 10 goals and we have to get back-to-back wins, that would be a godsend.
“Is it possible?
“Of course it is, but scoring is a problem.”
