NOBBY Solano’s time at Hartlepool United is finally up after the player confirmed the club have not offered him an extension to his contract.
The Peruvian’s deal expired this month but Pools had the option to extend his stay by 12 months.
That was never going to happen and belated confirmation came via Solano’s Twitter account last night.
SportMail first told you in February that Solano would not be appearing for Pools again and we revealed last Saturday that he had returned to his home country for the summer, thus confirming his exit from Victoria Park.
It marks the end of a sorry episode for both the player and the club given the hope his signing generated exactly one year ago.
