NEALE Cooper has finally made a breakthrough in the transfer market with the capture of Newcastle United winger Samuel Adjei.
The 20-year-old joins on a one-month loan deal and was in the squad for today’s visit of MK Dons.
Adjei has been training with Pools for the best part of a month and has caught the eye during two appearances for Micky Barron’s second-string, including Wednesday afternoon’s 2-0 reserve-team victory at Hull City.
Indeed, SportMail reported yesterday that the Swede was set to sign before today’s game having won glowing praise from Cooper.
The Pools boss has been keen to add genuine pace to his side and Adjei certainly possesses that in abundance.
He will take the No.17 squad jersey at Victoria Park.
