COLIN Cooper has made two changes to his Hartlepool United side for this afternoon’s Sky Bet League Two match with Cheltenham Town at Victoria Park.

Jonathan Franks is in for the injured Marlon Harewood (ankle) while Simon Walton returns from a one-match suspension in place of Jordan Richards.

Michael Duckworth returns to his regular right-back role.

Pools are expected to line-up in a diamond 4-4-2 formation, with Walton in the holding position, Brad Walker wide right and Jack Compton on the left with on-loan Manchester United forward Jack Barmby in the hole behind the front pairing of Luke James and Franks.

Neither of the two Sunderland loan signings are in the squad today, Scott Harrison and Connor Oliver, after signing on loan on Thursday.

Pools are currently 11th in League Two, nine points off the top seven and nine above the relegation zone.

Today’s opponents are back in 14th, with 48 points - just one point less than Pools.
