MICHAEL Duckworth tonight returns to the Hartlepool United side for their Sky Bet League Two match at home to Mansfield Town.
German-born Duckworth comes into the team in place of the suspended Simon Walton, who sits out the match at Victoria Park.
It is the only change and it will see Jordan Richards remain at right-back, with Brad Walker playing at the base of a diamond formation and Duckworth pushed wide right.
Cooper is tonight without injured pair Andy Monkhouse, out for at least a month with a hamstring strain, and Neil Austin, out for the season with an ongoing toe injury.
Walton serves a one-match ban after seeing red for two yellow card offences in Friday night’s 1-0 defeat at Oxford United.
Pools are 11th in League Two, six points off the top seven going into the game.
Meanwhile, 18th-placed Mansfield are only five points behind Pools and go into the game on the back of a credible goalless draw with third-placed Chesterfield.
Mansfield, managed by Paul Cox, have won just once in the last five League Two matches but they have also only lost once in that spell too.
