RONNIE Moore has made four changes for Hartlepool United in his first game in charge since taking over as manager.

Oxford United are the visitors to Victoria Park this afternoon as Pools look to close the gap to safety, with Moore’s side currently six points adrift.

In come Dan Jones into central defence, with Neil Austin moved to right-back, while Michael Woods and Sidney Schmeltz return to midfield.

The fourth change sees Sheffield United striker Joe Ironside make his full debut up front alongside Marlon Harewood.

Brad Walker misses out with a niggle for Pools while Jordan Richards and Jack Compton are benched.
