SCOTT Fenwick has been handed his full debut for Hartlepool United for this afternoon’s crunch match at home to York City.

The 24-year-old striker will partner Marlon Harewood up front, with boss Paul Murray making two changes to his Pools side following last weekend’s 1-0 defeat at Southend United.

New signings, goalkeeper Jon Maxted and on-loan duo Andy Campbell and Joe Ironside are named on the bench at Victoria Park.

Maxted has signed on a permanent deal, while Newcastle striker Campbell and Sheffield United’s Ironside have both joined on a one-month loan deal.

There is no place for Boro striker Charlie Wyke, who misses out with a knee injury and he has returned to Middlesbrough following the completion of his loan deal.

Jordan Richards is the second change made by Pools, he comes in on the right wing with Dutch winger Sidney Schmeltz dropping down to the bench.

Pools, who are bottom of League Two, will line up in a 4-4-2 formation against fellow strugglers York, who are fourth bottom.

Both sides have only managed one win in their past 11 league matches.

Pools (4-4-2): Flinders (C), Duckworth, Harrison, Collins, Austin, Richards, Walker, Featherstone, Franks, Fenwick, Harewood.

Subs: Maxted, Bates, Woods, Jones, Schmeltz, Campbell, Ironside.

York City (4-4-2): Cisak, McCoy, Ilesanmi, Coulson, Fletcher, Penn (C), Montrose, Lowe, Carson, Zubar, Hyde.

Subs: Ingham, McCombe, Summerfield, Halliday, Platt, Meikle, Jarvis.

Referee: Eddie Ilderton (Tyne & Wear)
