Team News: Three changes as Harewood, Franks and Compton all start for Hartlepool against Northampton

RONNIE Moore has made three changes to his Hartlepool United for tonight’s Sky Bet League Two clash with Northampton Town.

In come Marlon Harewood, Jack Compton and Jonathan Franks as Moore reverts to an attacking 4-4-2 formation in a bid to claw back the nine points to safety.

Scott Fenwick misses out with an ankle injury while Matthew Bates has not recovered from a dead leg.

Harewood will partner on-loan Plymouth Argyle striker Marvin Morgan up front.

Young Dan Jones drops down to the bench, with on-loan Scunthorpe United defender David Mirfin partnering Scott Harrison in central defence.

Pools are bottom of League Two, while tonight’s visitors are 11th and have won their last five consecutive league matches.
