Hartlepool United boss Neale Cooper in great spirits for Preston North End game
Neale Cooper made a big declaration ahead of Saturday's Notts County game.
NEALE Cooper believes momentum is building with his Hartlepool United side heading into tomorrow’s game at Preston North End.
The Pools boss welcomed another clean sheet and the extension of the five-match unbeaten run following Saturday stalemate with Bournemouth.
The point takes Cooper’s boys to within seven of the play-offs with a busy period of fixtures just around the corner, starting with the trip to Deepdale.
“We’ve got a good bit of momentum going into this busy spell,” said the Scot.
“It’s encouraging that we weren’t necessarily at our best on Saturday but still got a point against a good side.
“We’re in a good position now and if we keep this run going then who know where we’ll end up?”
