His side defeated local rivals Sunderland at yesterday's Premier League fixture at the Stadium of Light, netting two goals to SAFC's one.

And in celebration, Stuani, who scored both of his side's goals, posted a picture of himself, and his jubilant team mates, in the dressing room.

But midfielder Adam Clayton left little to the imagine after popping out of his underpants.

Stuani, who made his Premier League debut yesterday, has since removed the tweet and photograph, as well as saying sorry to Boro fans for any offence caused.

His message said: "I am sorry about the picture, we didn't realize it."
