MIDDLESBROUGH’S “Mogganaut” goes powering on and shows no signs of slowing down.

Boro continued their unbeaten start to the new season with a fine win over a frustrated Burnley at Turf Moor – leaving boss Tony Mowbray purring at the performance.

Mowbray’s men secured all three points with goals from Nicky Bailey and Joe Bennett as Boro won at Turf Moor for the first time in 17 years.

Middlesbrough have now won all three of their away fixtures in the npower Championship this season and sit third in the table – a start Mowbray is more than proud of.

To add to their delight, it was a club record fifth away league win in a row.

“It was important to keep the run going,” said Mowbray.

“It was fantastic to get a clean sheet and get a couple of goals.

“I thought the defence and goalkeeper were tremendous.”
