BRYN Morris has been called up to the England U18 side for the double-header against Hungary.
The Hartlepool-born Middlesbrough ace has 19 international games to his name and is expected to make his debut for the U18s against the Hungarians in friendlies.
The matches are to be played on October 11 and 14 at St George’s Park and Neil Dewsnip’s side could well be captained by Morris who skippered the U17s last year.
Because of the paucity of games at U18 level – only two were played last season – the former High Tunstall College of Science pupil has previously told SportMail of his desire to feature in the U19s this season.
The midfielder, who usually operates at centre-back for the national side, has made two Boro appearances and is tied to a three-year contract at the Riverside.
