IN-FORM Patrick Bamford says Middlesbrough have top of the league spirit as they prepare for their Sky Bet Championship showdown with Bournemouth.
After two goals in two starts, Bamford will be up front for Boro when second host first at the Riverside tomorrow.
Boro will go top should they beat the Cherries who come to Teesside on the back of six straight victories, including an 8-0 victory at Birmingham.
Bamford spent last season at the summit of the Championship with Derby, who lost out in the play-off final at Wembley.
He sees paralels between the Rams and Boro who have the Chelsea prospect on a half-season loan.
“The big thing about last year at Derby was the togetherness of the squad,” said the 21-year-old.
“Here it is exactly the same, if not not better.
“We have a bigger squad here but we are all in this together.
“We are united as a team and that really helps push you where we are looking to go.
“It will be a good game, these are the matches you want to be playing in, the big games against the big teams.”
