ADAM Hammill is in line for his home debut when Middlesbrough welcome former club Barnsley to the Riverside Stadium this evening (kick-off 7.45pm), writes RICHARD HUTCHINSON.

The 24-year-old joined Boro last week on loan from Wolves and, after playing a key part in the 3-1 win at Portsmouth on Saturday, he has his sights set on another start against the Tykes.

“It would be nice to play against them but I’m just glad to be playing football again,” said the midfielder who scored 13 goals in 78 league appearances for the South Yorkshire club.

“I’ve been brought in to do what I did at Barnsley - score and create goals and be a handful.”
