Former player at Middlesbrough Fabrizio Ravanelli can be backed at 25/1 whilst Paul Ince is also priced at 25/1 alongside current Republic Of Ireland manager Martin O’Neill.

Liam Glynn, BoyleSports spokesperson said “Middlesbrough are struggling in the Premier League and remain in the relegation zone and it was no shock to see Karanka part company with The Boro.

“Nigel Pearson is the one punters want so far and he continues to prove popular as the 2/1 favourite.

“Current caretaker manager Steve Agnew may well be the man to take over full time at the Riverside and he has his fans at 9/2 to get the permanent job.”
