MIDDLESBROUGH misfit Kris Boyd has completed his free transfer move to top flight Turkish outfit Eskisehirspor.
The 27-year-old is understood to have signed a three-year deal, having agreed personal terms and passed a medical.
The Scottish Premier League’s all-time record goalscorer, Boyd spent the second half of last season on loan with Nottingham Forest after joining Boro from Rangers in the summer.
Despite a big fanfare, his career never took off at Boro, where he scored six goals, while he added a further six at Forest.
His move will free up money for boss Tony Mowbray to spend in the transfer market given Boyd was one of Boro’s biggest earners.
