NEWCASTLE United target Wilfried Zaha is making the transfer headlines this morning amid reports that he may not leave Manchester United in January.

Zaha is on the Magpies’ radar as they consider a loan bid for the England winger when the transfer window opens.

But the Daily Mail today revealed that Zaha’s chances of getting a loan away from Man United this January are not being helped by suggestions that the 21-year-old is struggling to adapt to the mental challenges of life at a big club.

The newspaper adds that at least one Premier League manager who was considering a loan move for Zaha – who has barely featured since his £15m move from Crystal Palace – has been put off by feedback suggesting that the winger’s day-to-day contribution at the Old Trafford club is not what it needs to be.
