ALAN Pardew will make an 11th-hour decision on Loic Remy and Mathieu Debuchy for Saturday’s home game against Swansea City.
The pair have missed Newcastle United’s last six games through injury.
But forward Remy (calf) and defender Debuchy (groin) are back in training, and could return against Swansea.
Pardew said: “We’ve got three or four back at the training ground this week. It’s better on that front.”
Asked if Remy and Debuchy would be fit enough to start, he added: “I’m not sure. We’ll wait and see.”
Meanwhile, forward Hatem Ben Arfa is unlikely to be involved.
Ben Arfa suffered a dead leg in last weekend’s 1-0 defeat to Stoke City.
Pardew said: “Hatem’s still struggling with the injury he picked up last Saturday.”
