THE future of attacker Willian – linked with Newcastle United – is up in the air as Spurs could hijack Liverpool’s bid for the player.
The 25-year-old is set to leave Shakhtar Donetsk this summer for the Premier league.
Newcastle were credited with an interest in the midfielder yesterday, but the Daily Mirror today reports Willian, a transfer target for Liverpool, could be heading to the Premier League, but with Tottenham as Spurs are prepared to pay more than the Reds’ £26m valuation.
