LIVERPOOL face fresh competition to sign their main transfer target while Edinson Cavani’s future again dominates the headlines.
Liverpool face competition from Champions League runners-up Borussia Dortmund to sign Armenian midfielder Henrik Mkhitaryan, 24, from Shakhtar Donetsk, according to Goal.com.
Mkhitaryan played against Dortmund for Shaktar in the Champions League last season.
A fresh bid from Paris St-Germain for Napoli striker Edinson Cavani could force Chelsea to increase their offer for the 26-year-old to £53m, report the Daily Mirror.
