NEWCASTLE United’s pursuit of striking reinforcements took another turn today as they were linked with a Senegal striker.
The Magpies are in desperate need for fresh firepower in the summer, with doubts over whether Loic Remy, Shola Ameobi, Papiss Demba Cisse and Luuk de Jong will remain at the club.
And the Daily Mirror today reported that Newcastle manager Alan Pardew is interested in adding Metz’s 24-year-old Senegalese striker Diafra Sakho to his squad.
