NEWCASTLE United striker Papiss Demba Cisse could face an FA ban after getting embroiled in a spitting storm against Manchester United.

TV cameras seemed to show Cisse spitting towards Man United defender Jonny Evans during the first half of tonight’s game at St James’s Park.

Evans had himself appeared to have spat towards Cisse before that, and both players must wait to see if the FA take any action.

Cisse was banned for three games retrospectively earlier this season for an elbow on Everton’s Seamus Coleman.
