DARYL Janmaat is on Tyneside to tie up his £5m move to Newcastle United.
Janmaat has been pictured in the city, and is thought to have arrived in Newcastle yesterday.
According to reports, the 24-year-old right-back has already undergone his medical, while a six-year deal has been agreed.
Newcastle – who are yet to comment on the transfer – are expected to confirm the Dutchman’s arrival later today.
Janmaat will be the replacement for Mathieu Debuchy, whose own move to Arsenal is also set to be confirmed imminently.
It is expected that Janmaat will go on holiday after tying up his Newcastle move, as his involvement in the World Cup only ended on Saturday.
