MEHDI Abeid says he’s learning from the best at Newcastle United – Cheik Tiote and Yohan Cabaye.

The midfielder could be involved in tonight’s home game against West Bromwich Albion with Cabaye and Gosling suspended, and Danny Guthrie injured.

Abeid – who is yet to make his Premier League debut for the club – was an unused substitute for Saturday’s goalless draw against Swansea City.

However, the teenager is confident his chance will soon come – if he continues to work hard day in, day out in training.

“I learn a lot from the big players – like Tiote and Cabaye – and every day I work hard,” Abeid said.

“My chance will come if I work. I’m really happy to be learning here.”
