PAPISS Demba Cisse is confident he can emulate his Senegalese countryman Demba Ba – and take the Premier League by storm.

Cisse was Newcastle United’s match-winner against Aston Villa on his debut for the club.

And the striker is relishing Saturday evening’s televised clash at Tottenham Hotspur.

White Hart Lane was the scene of ex-No9 Andy Carroll’s last appearance in a Newcastle jersey in December 2010.

Cisse – who was signed for £9million from Freiburg last month – was handed the coveted shirt by United manager Alan Pardew and he’s looking forward to donning it against Harry Redknapp’s side.

“I came to the Premier League to be part of big nights like this – that’s all I have been thinking of since I signed for the club,” Cisse told SportMail. “This is one of the best leagues in the world and to have the opportunity to shine on the big stage is a big thing for any player.”
