RYAN Taylor’s spent much of the season in the shadows at Newcastle United.
But the 26-year-old stepped out into the spotlight at Stamford Bridge last weekend.
And Taylor’s hoping for another chance to impress manager Alan Pardew on Sunday, when he and his team-mates wrap up their season against West Bromwich Albion.
It’s been a frustrating campaign for Taylor, who had a long spell on the sidelines with an ankle injury, and earned a three-game suspension after being dismissed on his comeback game.
He lasted just 54 minutes against Bolton Wanderers on what was his first appearance under Pardew before seeing red for a late challenge on Johan Elmander.
