SHEFKI Kuqi will be given a chance to sign off with a goal when Newcastle United wrap up their season.
The veteran striker has made half a dozen substitute appearances for the club since joining as a free agent in February.
Kuqi was signed in the wake of Andy Carroll’s move to Liverpool. with manager Alan Pardew needing striking cover.
And his contract isn’t expected to be extended to next season.
As yet, the 34-year-old – who had left Swansea City earlier in the season – hasn’t had a clearcut opportunity to open his Newcastle account.
