FABRICIO Coloccini could make his Newcastle United comeback against Tottenham Hotspur.

The club’s captain is almost certainly out of tomorrow’s home game against Chelsea.

But United manager Alan Pardew is hopeful Coloccini – who has a groin problem and has missed the club’s last three games – will be involved at White Hart Lane on November 10.

“Colo’s running outside,” Pardew said.

“I think Colo’s got a chance for Spurs, but I don’t think he’s got a chance for this weekend.”

Steven Taylor, Coloccini’s defensive partner, suffered a recurrence of a hamstring problem last week, and his “behind” his team-mate in his rehabilitation.

Taylor – who has played just 45 minutes of football this season – could return to the squad for the home game against Norwich City on November 23.

“Tayls is a bit further behind,” added Pardew.

Teenage defender Remie Streete is also injured.
