NEWCASTLE United’s Mathieu Debuchy has left the door open to a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
The defender has been linked with a summer switch to the Parc de Princes.
Yohan Cabaye, Debuchy’s close friend, joined the big-spending Ligue 1 club in January.
And the France international, under contract at St James’s Park for another four years, was asked about the chances of a move to PSG on Telefoot in his native France.
Debuchy, while coy on the speculation, admitted the club was “appealing” to players.
“I’m still under contract with Newcastle, and I am focused on the conclusion of the season and the World Cup,” he told Telefoot.
“After that we do not know what the future holds.
“But PSG is immense. It is a great club, I think it would appeal to all players.”
Meanwhile, Debuchy has missed United’s last four games with a groin problem, but hopes to return to train in 10 days’ time.
“I still have another 10 days, but it is progressing well,” said the 28-year-old. “In two weekends, I will be ready.”
