MOUSSA Sissoko returned to training today ahead of Newcastle United’s visit to the Emirates Stadium.
The midfielder suffered a hamstring injury in last month’s defeat to Southampton.
But Sissoko is back on the practice field, and United manager Alan Pardew expects him to be available for Monday night’s game against Arsenal.
Speaking last week, Pardew said: “Moussa doesn’t look too far away.
“I think he’s got a chance for Arsenal.”
However, Pardew will be without striker Papiss Demba Cisse, who suffered a season-ending knee injury in last weekend’s home defeat to Swansea City.
And on-loan forward Luuk de Jong is doubtful with an ankle problem.
