NEWCASTLE United will face derby rivals Sunderland at home in the FA Youth Cup – if they can beat Barnsley at Oakwell tonight (7pm kick-off).

The draw for the fourth round has given the club’s Under-18s an added incentive to win the tie.

“We believe we’ve got some good young players,” said United’s Academy manager Joe Joyce, who made almost 400 appearances for Barnsley during his playing career.

“What we have to focus on is what we’re going to do, and the capabilities of our young players.

“Hopefully, they can perform on what is a good stage, because we’ll be playing at Oakwell.

“It should be a good night for everybody.”

Sunderland beat Ipswich Town on penalties last week in their third-round tie.
