NEWCASTLE United outcast Hatem Ben Arfa is set to join French club Nice, according to a report in France.
Nice-Matin claim Ben Arfa has agreed a deal with the Ligue 1 club after his deal at St James’s Park was “terminated”.
The forward had been on loan at Hull City for the first half of the campaign.
But the deal was ended early this month after Ben Arfa failed to impress HUll manager Steve Bruce, and he was set to return to St James’s Park.
However, there is no way back for Ben Arfa at Newcastle, even without Crystal Palace-bound Alan Pardew at the helm.
Ben Arfa fell out with Pardew late last season, and was made to train with the club’s development squad before joining Hull.
And United were ready to cut their losses on Ben Arfa, who is out of contract in the summer.
Meanwhile, L’Equipe claimed Arsenal are “targeting” Newcastle midfielder Moussa Sissoko.
