Rooney future set to be announced as tug of war begins between Chelsea and Spurs for Hulk

WAYNE Rooney’s future will become clearer at David Moyes’ press conference today, according to reports.

The Daily Express say Moyes is set to announce that striker Rooney, 27, is staying at Old Trafford when he faces the media for the first time as Manchester United manager.

Rooney has been linked with moves away, including to Chelsea and Arsenal.

Chelsea now, hwoever, are monitoring Brazilian striker Hulk, adds the Express.

They say Chelsea and and Tottenham are continuing to monitor the 29-year-old, after the Zenit St Petersburg forward confirmed he is aware of the interest from both clubs.
