SUNDERLAND may be on the verge of relegation, but one of their players is in demand this summer.
Emmanuele Giaccherini has had a mixed first season in the Premier League since his £6.8m move from Juventus.
And the Metro reports that West Ham boss Sam Allardyce is keen on capturing the 28-year-old.
Giaccherini has offers to play again in Serie A, but the newspaper reports that he wants to remain in the Premier League rather than return to his native Italy.
