WAYNE Rooney’s future unsurprisingly dominates the headlines today, while West Ham United may miss out on the brother of a Newcastle United star.
After the revelations late yesterday that Rooney is angry at the way he feels he’s been treated at Manchester United, it’s understandable that the newspapers feature him heavily.
The Daily Mirror says that the 27-year-old feels he is being “driven out” of Manchester United after “five months of negativity” which amounts to “constructive dismissal”.
The striker has been linked with a move to Arsenal and Chelsea this summer.
Meanwhile, talkSPORT say West Ham’s hopes of landing Morgan Amalfitano, 28, have been dashed after Marseille accepted an offer from Olympiakos for the French midfielder.
Amalfitano’s brother, Romain, is out of favour at Newcastle United and is excpected to move back to France this summer.
