NEWCASTLE United manager Alan Pardew says he has “100 per cent” trust in his No2 John Carver - who will take charge during his ban.
The hugely-experienced Carver will run the dugout during Pardew’s seven-game suspension.
Pardew will serve the first match of his suspension on Saturday when Newcastle take on Fulham at Craven Cottage.
The 52-year-old won’t even be allowed in the stadium for the first three games.
And Carver and captain Fabricio Coloccini, back from a spell of compassionate leave, will take on extra responsibilities on and off the field.
“John knows the gameplan inside out,” said Pardew today.
“I’ve got 100 per cent trust in John to deliver that on to the pitch.
“Colo’s also going to be important. He comes back into the team.”
