INJURY WORRY ... Yohan Cabaye with Newcastle manager Alan Pardew.

YOHAN Cabaye is out of Newcastle United’s Capital One Cup tie against Leeds – but the midfielder’s injury isn’t serious.

Cabaye limped out of Saturday’s 3-2 home defeat to Hull City with a groin problem.

But the 27-year-old could return against Everton at Goodison Park on Monday night.

Newcastle manager Alan Pardew today revealed young players Paul Dummett and Sammy Ameobi will start the third-round tie against Leeds at St James’s Park.

“I’ll put out a strong side,” said Pardew.

“But we need to look at one or two to see if they’re pushing for the first team.

“Sammy and Paul will definitely play.”

Midfielder Cheik Tiote will also be in Pardew’s starting XI.
