FORGOTTEN man Nyron Nosworthy admits he is enduring the worst time of his career after dropping completely out of the first-team picture at Sunderland.
The 30-year-old defender has not played for the Black Cats since the 2-0 defeat at Everton in January 2010 and, after spending last season on loan at Sheffield United, now finds himself in limbo with no club on the horizon to take him on loan and no obvious future at the Stadium of Light.
He told SportMail: “It’s incredibly disappointing because I love playing football and, at the moment, it’s just not happening.
“I understand I’m not in the manager’s plans at Sunderland and a loan would be the best idea but it isn’t as easy as it seems to get a new club.
“People might think you just walk out of one and into another but it’s not as simple as that, especially in the current situation in football.”
