MARTIN O’Neill is pleased with his summer transfer dealings, but the Sunderland manager admits that no manager is ever truly satisfied.
He said: “I was delighted with the players we have got in - Johnson, Fletcher, Cuellar, Saha and Rose.
“Johnson is someone who was wanted by a number of clubs so I was very pleased to get him. He has an end product to his game and can go past players, which will excite the crowd.
“And Fletcher is someone who will score goals and go on to prove he is a good acquisition.
“But, as always in any transfer window, you would like to do more.
“When you reach September 1, though, that’s all you can do – other than looking at players who are out of contract.
“We’ll see, but for now what we have, we have.”
