PAOLO DI CANIO will not sweep any of Sunderland’s errors under the carpet.
Di Canio was disappointed with the manner of the two goals conceded in Sunday’s 2-1 defeat at Chelsea, as his new charges extended their winless streak to nine games.
But far from banishing the memory of a sixth defeat in eight, the head coach will guide his players through a help manual of their mistakes.
Di Canio is a big advocate of video analysis and believes by highlighting the clangers, it will ensure his squad make the improvements needed for Sunderland to preserve their Premier League status.
“We’ve got to do much better (defending the two goals) obviously, although we kept going until the end in the right way,” said Di Canio.
“The lads are ready to work so hard and we will analyse the mistakes.
“It is only through that way that people can improve and next time they will consider doing something else.”
